WOOL COAT
Made from 100% Italian Wool. Sourced from dead stock warehouse closing down sale. Fabric can be reversible, coat has no lining and all inner raw seams are concealed using Hong Kong binding technique. Wool was cut on bias into strips then hand folded and pressed to create custom binding used on inside of coat. As there is no lining the coat is a lighter weight which makes it appropriate for both Autumn and Winter.

OUTFIT FOR LIPTEMBER
Made from Tyvek, black knit material (sourced from dead stock warehouse closing down sale) and avocado pit dyed calico. This collection is primarily inspired by Women’s Mental Health in support of Liptember. All materials used have connections to this issue. Tyvek is heated with iron to create shrunken fabric which symbolises cracking of the surface. The person is struggling with internal thoughts and is eventually showing this externally. Lining is a naturally dyed calico with avocado pits. This symbolises the colour of Liptember and it is embroidered with negative and positive words which are thought and felt when the mind is unsettled. Black sparkle fabric symbolises the glimmer at the end of the tunnel. There is hope and resolution.
